A little imagination can go a long way. Did anyone catch Monday’s issue of The Metro? There was an article on a group of young people who had made jewellery, furniture and clothes out of old Metro newspapers! Somebody even made a chair! Yes a chair out of recycled sheets of Metro newspaper.

Who would have thought something so innovative could be made from something we see on a day to day basis but never think anything of!
I found some great videos of people making everything from handbags to dresses to apron’s all from recycled goods. This is a great way of keeping the size of our landfills small and keeping our brain bursting with those creative juices!
This video shows you how you can make a ball of yarn out of a plastic bag and then use it to weave.
Now that summer is summer is here, you know those BBQ’s you love so much will be coming out, and theres no better way to show off you culinary skills whilst wearing something you made.
Might as well take the spare time you have this summer to make something worth show off to all your friends! At least when you know you’ve made it nobody else is going to have it.
